A
Simple Computer Hardware Review
Finally, a Computer Hardware
Review for the Rest of us...
If
you are in the market for a new computer, don't get stuck with one that
is hard to set up, learn and use.
This is
particularly important if you are new to computers or don't
particularly enjoy all the technical aspects of them.
The
iMac is as easy as it gets right from the moment you take it out of the
box.
What
is the best computer for you? That all depends on your needs, but if
you are like many people who primarily buy a computer to access the
internet, check email, and perhaps download photos from your camera,
the choice of computer becomes very easy.
If
this describes you, then
this review was written just for you.
David's Choice - 20 inch iMac
Currently
I think this computer provides the simplest approach to computing today.
Read
on if you would like to know why I feel this way...
The quick summary:
I
consider Apple's entry level iMac computer
to be the best choice for most folks who are looking for the simplest
computing experience. I feel that the Apple interface (operating system
10.5) provides the most intuitive user experience and according to
Consumer Reports (TM), Apple's technical support was found to be
top-notch.
They also found that Apple computers were less susceptible to computer
viruses and spyware.
For virtually all of your
computing needs,
the base iMac is a good choice. It has much more horsepower than what
you will need for a long time to come. It is also drop-dead
gorgeous
and would not look out of place in any room of the house. Its 20 inch
monitor is large, which is wonderful if your eyesight is not the best
and you like larger print when you are reading on the screen.
