A
Simple Auto GPS Review
The
price on these have come way down -- most everyone will find value in
this unit. It will even help you find the nearest gas station.
I
just about fell on my head the other day. I walked into my neighborhood
electronics store and found a GPS for my car that was $220. I thought
these things were supposed to be expensive? I swear that last year they
were running two to three times that amount!
I had
done my homework and found a GPS that is not only inexpensive, it is
also very easy to set up, learn and use. I am thinking that my dad (who
is a technically challenged senior), could actually use this.
David's Choice - The Garmin nuvi
200 This is an ideal auto GPS for those who feel
that simple is better - like I do.
The quick summary: Garmin
has been in the GPS business since 1989 and has done an excellent job
refining their products over that time. The nuvi 200 is their basic
auto GPS offering. It doesn't play games, or play music - it just does
what you expect from it - help you go from point A to B (and then
some). It is a compact unit that comes with all you need to get started.
It
also gets great reviews on-line.
